Henkel’s career in creative arts has expanded to the design, execution and modernization of museums, galleries and cultural events. Through her advisory services, she enjoys working with diverse people across industries to successfully execute projects and cultivate cultural partnerships.
Henkel produces the art exhibition, 12 Inches of Sin. The exhibition explores the diverse landscape of eroticism through the lens of contemporary art. To date, artists from 27 countries have participated. She is known to activate 72,000 sq.ft. of vacant commercial property for art installations, exhibitions and performing arts.
For nine years, Henkel directed Sin City Gallery to exhibit local and international contemporary artists on and off The Strip.
Henkel has worked with numerous non-profit art institutions as Curator and Director of Operations. She has lectured internationally and taught graduate studies related to the field of Erotology via her alma mater, Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. Her PhD dissertation was the creation of EHM of Las Vegas which included the design and construction of the art facility, the development of 24,000 sq.ft. of permanent and temporary art exhibitions and educational programming.
